The KBK is unique in its design in that there is no requirement to cut the branch kits to size. Instead the installer is supplied with a number of copper sockets which enable the branch kit to fit to any sized copper pipe. (Photo)

| No need to cut the branch kit to size, each kit is supplied with copper sockets which enable the installer to connect the branch kit to a range of different sized pipe-work.
Since no cutting is involved, there is no need to de-burr the kits which also eliminates the risk of any swarf contaminating the pipe-work.
Swarf is one of the causes of premature compressor failure in air conditioning systems.
The KBK design has a patent pending.
